If you were to ask them, my family and friends always knew I would eventually run for political office. Not because I am the best looking of the bunch or even the most charismatic, but because I’m tenacious in the face of a challenge.

My name is Christopher Buono. I’m proud to stand before you as candidate for Eagle County Assessor.

My background includes more than twenty-five years in leadership and management consulting roles, including work with public-sector organizations and community nonprofits. Now, as a teacher at Battle Mountain High School, I remain deeply connected to our community.

I am running to bring professional leadership, transparency, and accountability to the Assessor’s Office. I would be honored to have your vote tonight.
